The Thompson Property And Gardens

Posted on Posted in Garden Center

Having evolved over a lot more than 450 years, the 105 acre Chatsworth garden continues to modify nowadays. Constructed in the 1760s the dovecote was used to residence pigeons, for a source of fresh meat during the winter months. I like the color on the ornamental cabbages but in my garden a window box is the only proper spot for these plants. Espaliered fruit trees are grown on the most sheltered of the walls and there are two more walls which bisect the garden.
